Jamie Smith, originally from Lincoln, UK, is the Director of Education for EDUCO Italia. With a background in education research, he previously lectured at several UK universities and has published research in the fields of educational psychology and inclusive education. Jamie first joined EDUCO in 2016 as a Summer Camp tutor and went on to serve as an orientation leader, from 2021, before stepping into his role as Director in 2024. Today, he leads the didactic team, overseeing curriculum design and pedagogical delivery across EDUCO’s Summer Camp, Teatrino, and training course programmes.
