Job Outline

Our Storytelling Tour transforms primary school classrooms into an immersive dream space, where the children are led interactively through one of our five enchanting stories.

If you’re a performer with a natural spark for telling stories, this is the perfect chance for you to use your skills to engage Italian students in a unique theatrical experience and inspire their love for learning. We are running one Storytelling Tour in 2026 with three storytellers.

Repertoire:

We have five storytelling workshop pieces, each tailored to a specific age group. Storytellers run workshops independently.

5 stories:
The Hungry Caterpillar: CEFR Pre-A1
Bear Hunt: CEFR A1
Toy Story: CEFR A1
A Mario Adventure: CEFR A1
Aladdin: CEFR A1/A2

Rehearsal agreements:

Dates: 12th - 26th January 2026 (subject to change)
Accommodation: shared room, breakfast and lunch

Tour agreements:

You will be working an average of up to six contact hours a day, at multiple schools, with travel afterwards which may include distances of 100km and upwards. Performers will be required to work some Saturdays.

Dates: January - May 2026 (exact dates TBC)
Accommodation: Shared room, breakfast (if provided by the hotel/ B & B)
Payment: €300per week (paid monthly) with the successful completion of work. Car/petrol costs and work insurance are also covered by Educo.
