Teatrino is Educo’s Theatre in Education programme. Operating successfully for over 20 years, it is the largest and most diverse of its kind in Italy.
About Teatrino
Italy is a country with limited experience of the benefits that Theatre in Education brings to students. At Teatrino, we make it our mission to teach and promote spoken English to children in a fun and interactive way, through various areas of the performing arts. All of our repertoire is in line with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages.
Teatrino is made up of a team of professional individuals who specialise in different areas, but unite in their passion for Theatre in Education. Each year, we recruit creatives from across the globe to work with us and showcase their talent to help inspire students to learn English through the arts.

When hired as a performer with Teatrino, you’ll train with our creative and didactic team, working on the skills needed to effectively deliver workshops and performances to Italian students.
Tours are a challenging but extremely rewarding and invaluable experience. We offer our performers the freedom to bring their own qualities and personality to each show, encouraging growth of character and performance ability. Not only will you be able to develop your skills and creativity, but you will have the chance to explore and travel across Italy, absorbing its rich culture.
